HazMat Feature
The HazMat Features are used to store and exchange information from the remote HSM system. The data type is used to specify the content in more detail. For the Data Type Option, you can define the allowed feature values using the action Options.
The Data Transfer Direction is the central field for the feature behavior during data exchange.
No: There is no data exchange.
Business Central to HSM: Feature contents are exported to the external HSM system when a HazMat Material is transmitted.
HSM to Business Central: Feature contents are retrieved from the external HSM system when the feature values are collected for a HazMat Material.
Both: Feature values are written (Transfer HazMat Material) or read (Get Feature Values) depending on the action.
Via CHEMDOX or epos tab, the HazMat System Method and the HazMat System Feature Code can be entered. Depending on the HazMat System field in the Yaveon 365 HazMat Connect Setup table, there is a tab for the HSM system you have selected. These two values can be found in the interface description of the respective HSM system. The HazMat System Feature Code is used to access the HSM system field to be retrieved. The HazMat System Method is a technical necessity that describes how the retrieval has to be done.
Special Features epos
If a new feature is set up for retrieval, the field System Feature Code must be filled with the corresponding value from the epos interface description.
Special Features CHEMDOX
System Feature Path
The System Feature Path field is required to transfer content from BC to CHEMDOX. The value of the field can be entered directly or using the AssistEdit. If AssistEdit is not used, the appropriate value must be selected in the fields Physical Chemical, PhysChem Single or PhysChem only Value. The AssistEdit provides support for the configuration of new contents and fills all required fields based on the selection you have made.
Product Export Feature Path
To retrieve values for a new feature from CHEMDOX, the field Product Export Feature Path must be filled with the corresponding identifier from the CHEMDOX product export file.
