Pick according to FEFO/FIFO
The picking method determines the order of negative consumptions. A distinction is made between FEFO (First Expired - First Out) and FIFO (First In - First Out).
FEFO: Items which are managed by expiration date are frequently removed from the warehouse on the basis of this method. Lots which expire first should also be taken out first.
FIFO: This method means that lots with the oldest receipt date should also be taken out first.
empty: The BC standard logic is used.
The picking method can be specified for an Item on the item card. When an Item Tracking Code is added to the item, the Picking Method on the item card is automatically filled with the Picking Method from the Item Tracking Code.
If a different Picking Method than the one set up on the Item Tracking Code should be used, the field can be changed manually for the item and the selected Picking Method will be used.
Important
Date of Entry and Expiration Date are part of lot and serial number information only. Therefore, items which are neither tracked by serial number nor by lot number cannot be set up with Picking Method FIFO or FEFO. The standard BC Picking logic is used instead.

Important
The field Pick according to FEFO on the location card is a Microsoft standard Field and gets overruled by the Yaveon 365 picking method setup on the Item Tracking Code or the Item Card.
If inventory of items that do not have an expiration date exists, it is picked according to the FIFO method. The stock with the oldest entry date is picked first, followed by the next oldest.
