Bin capacity
For each Bin Class, the Bin Capacity determines how many bins are available for different Load Carrier Groups. In this way, it provides the information on how many load carriers of a specific type can be stored in a bin.
To do this, select a Bin Class Code and a Load Carrier Group and then define the Space. The value entered here defines the number of available space for the specified load carrier group in the bin class.

In this way, you can define, for example, that either three load carriers of the group "PAL114x114" or four load carriers of the group "PAL80x120" can be placed into a bin of bin class EURO-4. When searching for a bin, the system checks for the free capacity defined in this way for all bins. If a load carrier is already in a bin, the remaining free capacity is determined via the load carrier group of this load carrier. This means that in the above case, if a load carrier with the load carrier group "PAL80x120" is already in a bin, the field Occupied Space has the value "1" and Remaining Space has the value "3". In addition, the Load Carrier Group Code field displays the load carrier group code of the load carrier that was put away. This means that three more load carriers from the group "PAL80x120cm" can be put away. In addition, the field Space Available = yes is also set here.
