Feature Groups

A group of features that forms a logical context is known as a Feature Group. Feature Groups can be used to transfer a group of several features to the master data at the same time. Consquently features do not have to be assigned individually.

To do this, you must open the features on the respective master data card (e.g. item card) and press the function Select Feature Group.

Note

You do not have to work with feature groups – they merely offer a simplified method for master data maintenance.

To create a feature group:

1. Use the search to open the Feature Groups and chose the action New. The Feature Group Card opens.
2. Enter a matching Code and an associated Description
3. Afterwards, the features can be assigned to the group in the Feature Group Lines. The number of features are not limited.
