Excess Consumption Handling

This setting in the ProBatch 365 Manufacturing Setup in the field Excess Consumption Handling refers to the handling for dealing with reserved Prod. Order components in the event of excess consumption.

The following options can be selected:

• Standard: The procedure remains identical to the processing in Standard BC. In case of excess consumption, no automatic adjustment of the reservation takes place. Quantities must be adjusted manually and reserved again.

• Adjust reservations: the position can be overbooked and the reservation is automatically increased. If there are more reservations, the next reservation found will be decreased by the excess quantity. This is absolutely recommended when posting a consumption via external device (like scanner or scale).
