Extensions Shipping Agent

Enhancements have also been made to the Shipping Agent table.

You can use the field Combine Shipment to define for each shipping agent whether warehouse shipments should be combined automatically.

Furthermore, you can enter a date formula for the combination of warehouse shipments in the field Shipment Date Filter Calc.. If warehouse shipments with a shipment date are within the calculated filter (for example, 5D for 5 days), they are combined into one warehouse shipment when they are created. The following criteria must be met:

• Location: Create warehouse shipment must be activated
• The customer and the delivery address of the outgoing goods must match
• It must be a warehouse shipment for a sales order
• The shipping advice must be of the type partial
• The Combine warehouse shipments indicator must be activated on the shipping agent
• shipping agent and shipping agent service must match

In addition, the existing warehouse shipment must not yet be completely picked. If complete delivery is specified as the shipping advice, the order is generally copied into a new warehouse shipment. If the warehouse shipment is already in picking (processing status = in process or partially picked), the processing status is set to Subsequent picking and is only reset to In process for the remaining quantity when picking is created.
