Automatic correction postings
Automatic inventory correction due to excess consumption
An inventory correction takes place if excess quantities are reported back by the scale that were not previously recorded in ProBatch. For example, the inventory of a lot is booked in ProBatch with 50 kg, but the scale reports a consumption of 51 kg. This overweighing can lead to an automatic inventory correction in ProBatch.
The missing difference of the inventory is added and consumed again by the production order. The reason code stored in the Reason code inventory correction field in the Scale integration setup is saved on the value item of the receipt posting.
Automatic inventory correction due to destruction
If a production order is weighed in additively and a component is weighed in incorrectly, all previously weighed components may have to be destroyed. The weighing order must then be processed again.
