    Sales Price Unit of Measure

The Pricing Unit of Measure function allows the user to specify the price in an Item Unit of Measure, which is different from the Sales Unit of Measure in the sales document.

For this purpose, the PB365 Sales Price table has been extended to include the fields:

    • Pricing Unit of Measure
    • Qty. per Pricing Unit of Measure
    • Unit Price (Pricing Unit)

The Pricing Unit of Measure can only be filled with an existing Item Unit of Measure. If the Pricing Unit of Measure is selected, the Qty. per Pricing Unit of Measure field will be filled with the Qty. per Unit of Measure from the Item Unit of Measure table. The lines of the sales documents, e.g. sales quotes, sales order, sales invoice, etc. have also been extended with these fields. The Price Calculation Method PB365 Hierarchical Pricing* has been extended so when the price is determined in the sales document, the price unit fields from the PB365 Sales Price Table are populated. However, the Pricing Unit of Measure can also be filled and edited manually.

The conversion from Unit price to Unit Price (Pricing Unit) is done using the Qty. per Pricing Unit of Measure and vice versa.

    Note

Please note that the PB365 Sales Price table was extended, NOT the BC Standard table Sales Price List.

In the Corporate Design setup tables, there is an option Replace Unit Price with Unit Price in Pricing Unit. If this option is active, then when the Unit Price Excl. VAT field is printed, the value is replaced by the value from the Unit Price (Pricing Unit) field. Furthermore, in this case, the sentence The Price refers to 0.125 canisters will be printed as a line extension. Here, canister represents the description of the sales unit from the sales line. The 0.125 is calculated from the Sales Unit of Measure converted to the Pricing Unit of Measure (if necessary via the base unit). The text is created in the CD Labels table, and can be customized there.

    Purchase Unit of Measure

The Purch. Pricing Unit of Measure function allows the user to specify the unit cost in an Item Unit of Measure, which is different from the Purchase Unit of Measure in the purchase document.

For this purpose, the Purchase Price List table has been extended to include the fields:

    • Purch. Pricing Unit of Measure
    • Purch. Qty. per Pricing Unit of Measure
    • Direct Unit Cost (Pricing Unit)

The Purch. Pricing Unit of Measure can only be filled with an existing Item Unit of Measure. If the Purch. Pricing Unit of Measure is selected, the Purch. Qty. per Pricing Unit of Measure field will be filled with the Qty. per Unit of Measure from the Item Unit of Measure table. The lines of the purchase documents, e.g. purchase quotes, purchase order, purchase invoice, etc. have also been extended with these fields. The Purch. Pricing Unit of Measure can also be filled and edited manually.

The conversion from Direct Unit Cost to Direct Unit Cost (Pricing Unit) is done using the Purch. Qty. per Pricing Unit of Measure and vice versa.

    Note

Please note that the BC Standard table Purchase Price List was extended, because there is no specific purchase price table in the ProBatch 365 Trade App.

In the Corporate Design setup tables, there is an option Replace Direct Unit Cost with Direct Unit Cost (Pricing Unit). If this option is active, then when the Direct Unit Cost field is printed, the value is replaced by the value from the Direct Unit Cost (Pricing Unit) field. Furthermore, in this case, the sentence The Unit Cost refers to 0.125 canisters will be printed as a line extension. Here, canister represents the description of the Purch. Pricing Unit of Measur from the purchase line. The 0.125 is calculated from the Purchase Unit of Measure converted to the Purch. Pricing Unit of Measure (if necessary via the base unit). The text is created in the CD Labels table, and can be customized there.
