Zone order

The Zone Order is the central table for the bin search according to order priority zone (item-related criteria for the bin search). You can find an example of the bin search in the chapter extension of put-away strategy.

The zone order defines in which zones item of a certain Put-away Group are to be stored and in which order the zones in question are to be searched for free bins. With the action New you can create a new line. You can then select a Put-away Group Code and assign it to which Location Code and Zone Code the put-away group is to be put away.

When searching for a bin, the system only considers the lines in the zone order that correspond to the put-away group of the item to be put away and the target location. Lines that meet these restrictions are processed from top to bottom and searched for free bins in the specified zone code. Within the zones, further subdivisions can be made using the put-away-zones.md.
