Extensions in the manufacturing specification
The manufacturing specification shows the necessary steps for producting an item.
Depending on the fied Use Positions for Phase of Weighing Orders in the Scale Integration Setup the creation of the phase in PAMS, the components belong to, is done due to operation or position.
The following fields and functions have been added to the manufacturing specification:

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Fixed weighing position | The components must be weighed in the specified order. All components of an operation must have the same value here. The flag can be preset in the manufacturing specification and is then copied to the Prod. Order component lines and weighing order lines. |
| Weighing type | The Weighing type can have the following options: - Single weighing: Each component is weighed individually - Additive weighing: Components are added additively to a container. - Bulk weighing (not yet supported) - Mix Weighing: equals addive weighing without zero setting. Within one operation, the weighing method must be identical for all components. This is checked when certifying the manufacturing specification. Further details for weighing types are explained in the documentation of the scale software. |
| Weighing component type | The Weighing component type field can have the following options: - Active Ingredient - Compensating Material - Equalizer. Further information can be found in the following. |
| Weighing Necessary | The field Weighing necessary controls, if a weighing position is created based on a component line, the lot number is part of the weighing position and if yes, if the lot no. is obligatory to use or not. - empty - Lot No. suggestion - Without Lot No. - Obligatory Lot No. |
| Lower weighing tolerance % | Here you can specify the weighing tolerance in %. A preassignment of the field takes place via the Item card (field Weighing tolerance group code) or Item-specific from the setup of the Weighing tolerances. A weighing position can thus be considered complete if the weighing takes place within the tolerance. The specification is then passed on to the Prod. Order component lines and weighing order lines and can be overwritten there. |
| Upper weighing tolerance % | The weighing tolerance can be specified here in %. The field is preset via the Item card (Weighing tolerance group code field) or Item-specifically from the Weighing tolerances setup. A weighing position can thus be considered complete if the weighing-in takes place within the tolerance. The specification is then passed on to the Prod. Order component lines and weighing order lines, where it can be overwritten. |
| Workstations Code | Here workstations can be created. The default will then be taken into account in PAMS. |
| Scale platform class code | Scale platform classes can be created here. The default will then be taken into account in PAMS. |
Weighing component type: active ingredient, adjustment, compensation
| Weighing component type | Description |
|---|---|
| Active ingredient | The active ingredient component is assigned a weighing feature on the Item card, which is to be taken into account during weighing in order to calculate the quantity ratios in PAMS. The feature specified here must be indicated with a target value on the Item (reference content, GREF), and the lot used must have an actual value (GCHA) of this feature. The active ingredient may only occur once in a phase. This results in the target quantity (MSOLL) from the original target quantity (MORG) according to the following equation MSOLL = MORG * GERF/GCHA. |
| Equalizer | An equalizer is proportionally adjusted to the active ingredient position. An equalizer position may only be defined if an active ingredient position is defined in the position phase. The equivalent position may only be weighed after the active ingredient position of the phase has been weighed. More than one equivalent position can be defined in a phase. |
| Compensating Material | A compensating material position is adjusted antiproportionally to the sum of all active ingredients and equalizer components of its phase. An compensating material position can only be weighed after all active ingredients and equalizer components have already been weighed. |
