    Electronic signature

An electronic signature is data with which the signer can be clearly identified. The signer gives his signature for certain data changes. This enables the user to be firmly associated with the change made.

The need for an electronic signature can be enforced in many areas of the application and thus especially the (GMP) critical changes or activities can be protected. In addition, guidelines on how a password is to be assigned (e.g. number of special characters contained) or its validity period can be determined.
