Differences depending on the connected HSM System

Currently Yaveon 365 HazMat Connect supports the interfaces to the two HSM Systems epos and CHEMDOX. In most places the handling is identical despite the different systems. In the following, the concrete differences will be listed and explained:

Depending on the HSM system, different basic settings are necessary for the interface communication to work.

HazMat Feature

The CHEMDOX or epos tab is displayed on the HazMat Feature Card (depending on the configured HSM system). In this tab, the data for the interface exchange is managed. The contents for calling up new features can be found in the respective interface description.

HazMat Companies

It is not possible to transfer HazMat Companies to the management system. The HazMat Companies can only be retrieved from the CHEMDOX system. Using epos it is also not possible to retrieve them. The creation of a new company is done manually in epos and BC.

HazMat Material Synonyms

The HazMat Material Synonyms become sales products within epos. Therefore the HazMat Material Synonym data record contains the field Sales Product Code. When CHEMDOX is in use, aliases are created. The Alias field is therefore displayed in the HazMat Material Synonyms and used in the interface.

Request Reclassification

It is not recommended to trigger the reclassification from BC while using CHEMDOX. Instead, you should classify and maintain the product in CHEMDOX and retrieve the resulting data.

HazMat Customer Mappings

The HazMat Customer Mappings is only used for epos. CHEMDOX does not process customer information.
